The Zunyi Conference saved the party, the Red Army, and the Chinese revolution. It was a life-and-death turning point in the history of the Chinese Communist Party. In Maotai Town, in addition to the feat of crossing Chishui, the Red Army also forged an indissoluble bond with the local Maotai liquor in Maotai Town, leaving a touching story of the integration of military and civilian fish and water, forming a strong red culture.
